Introduction

We are located at a distance of 220 kilometres from Budapest, 25 from Szombathely and 40 from Sopron. Click here to receive map information about our location. The town of Bük has been the Sports Town of Hungary since 1996, both the sports centre and the sports hall could host numerous highly ranked sports events in the past one and a half decades. We could orgainse UEFA youth soccer tournaments, but also U19 Euro qualification and championship games.

The sports hall hosted the Savaria Volley-Ball Cup, the Pannon Basketball Tournament and sports fans could also watch the men's and women's handball national team. Apart from ball-games youth national fencing and wrestling teams regularly frequent the sports centre. The premises with a capacity of almost 500 spectators with lockers, storage facilities, buffet and a 1.000 m2 arena was built 1995. The automatic curtain enables to have several training units in the same room.

The calm environment, the mild climate and polite staff, a wide-range of accommodation and high-quality fields make our town ideal for high-quality hosting. Several people working in sports economy have recognised this fact over the past few years, thus sports tourism began to flourish in Bük.

We could welcome several top teams from Russia, Italy, Spain, Israel, the Ukraine and even the United Arabian Emirates. Of course also Hungarian teams are familiar with and praise the quality of our services. We could expand our capacities when the artificial grass soccer field and the tribune with a capacity of almost 500 viewers were inaugurated in the autumn of 2012. The self-government is thinking of further developments on order to be able to offer visiting teams better services in the future.
